Looking for a software that both syncs multichannel inventory and records payouts
I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm desperately looking for a software that can both bring in orders AND sync inventory across sales channels using quickbooks as the source of truth. I'm also looking for something that can handle payouts/order comissions…
I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm desperately looking for a software that can both bring in orders AND sync inventory across sales channels using quickbooks as the source of truth. I'm also looking for something that can handle payouts/order comissions fees. For context, I've been using webgility. It's fine for amazon, but for Walmart & ebay, I've had an awful experience. It doesn't handle walmart payouts/fees whatsoever, and is very buggy w/ respect to handling sales tax correctly. With eBay, it seems the software can't handle ebay payouts whatsoever; I feel like I've been paying for a headache thus far. Any recommendations for software that can do what I'm looking for? I'd like it for a reasonable price, but at the end of the day, my biggest "want" is making sure I can trust the software that I'm paying for, which I haven't been able to thus far.

I would look into an IMS like Cin7 or Finale. You shouldn't have order level data in QBO. You can bring revenue summary data into QBO with A2X and COGS from your IMS. Order level source of truth and inventory quantities source of truth can remain in IMS.
First non bot comment 🤣 I want order level specifically for accurate COGS reporting; scaling currently so need that for financial reporting/banks. Looked at finale and it seems perfect,!$7:5 pretty expensive for what I’m looking for. If you have any other advice i would really appreciate it
Maybe ~400, looked at all of these. Work great for summaries but looking for order level reporting though . That said, Wouldn’t need that if something like veeqo could be used simultaneously to avoid overselling. Still learning so any direction is always appreciated

I get the frustration, but this isn’t just a Webgility problem, payouts on Walmart/eBay are messy for pretty much every tool. Most apps handle orders + inventory fine, but settlements/fees don’t map cleanly to QuickBooks, so things look off. I’ve used Webgility and yeah it needs some setup (especially payout mapping), but it’s honestly more stable than a lot of QB connectors out there. There’s no perfect all-in-one here tbh, everything’s a bit of a tradeoff.
Getting true order level detail into QuickBooks while also having inventory that stops oversells is usually two different problems, and the all in one tools tend to get messy fast. A setup I’ve seen work is using something like Ve͏eqo to keep stock synced across Amazon, Walmart, and eBay, then using A͏2X or Link M͏y Books to push clean payout summaries into QBO so deposits and fees actually reconcile. The catch is QuickBooks doesn’t love thousands of line items, and even if you force order level in there, it still won’t match the deposit without a bunch of extra mapping for fees, refunds, and reserves. I ended up leaving order level reporting in the marketplace reports and the inventory tool, then using Taxo͏mate on the bookkeeping side because it was che͏aper than a lot of connectors and kept the payout math from turning into a weekly headache.
