Best or good? Mac Slicer for 3D printing?
I'm getting into 3d printing. I've done some test models using the models that came with the printer, but now i need a Slicer. There's a few that came with the printer like "Cura", which seems to be the main one out there. Are there any built for mac, nice…
I'm getting into 3d printing. I've done some test models using the models that came with the printer, but now i need a Slicer. There's a few that came with the printer like "Cura", which seems to be the main one out there. Are there any built for mac, nice easy, it just works, type programs out there?

Yeah it is. They have a dmg for it now I just reinstalled and it’s there on the site.
Prusa Slicer is kinda the standard
that seems to be just for Prusa printers?
No, you can use it for others. I use Bambu slicer but I also use it for a prusa I have
Bambu slicer which is Orca, works for everything I need
It really depends on your printer that you get. If it’s Bambu then Bambu studio, if it’s Anycubic you can flash firmware and get orca slicer, if it’s snapmaker then it’s orca slicer, most everything if you can get vanilla klipper firmware will run on orca slicer.
I use Orca but it’s not Mac native. I’d love something new. Following
Most of them are forks of Orca Slicer with some layer of customization for the manufacturer's printers. If your printer's manufacturer has its own slicer, use it. Otherwise go for Orca
