Network App Gone?

So I just noticed Apple's Network app is gone from the Applications/Utilities folder. Anyone know why they removed it and what is a good free app to replace it with? I liked the way it was laid out and ease of use and don't want to use the Terminal for things…

So I just noticed Apple's Network app is gone from the Applications/Utilities folder. Anyone know why they removed it and what is a good free app to replace it with? I liked the way it was laid out and ease of use and don't want to use the Terminal for things that the Network app did very easily.

Not removed recently. Deprecated in Big Sur, fully gone since Ventura. Just grab Neo Network Utility - looks identical to the original and it's free. WhatRoute is another solid option if you want something more powerful

Neo Network Utility also has ping, traceroute, port scan, and whois all in one window, same as the original. Makes it feel like nothing changed.

Funny that's gone, but Airport Utility is still in.
