anyone else find that meta and shopify revenue never actually match? do u guys think a tool that explains the gap and tells you whether to scale or hold spend be useful?

yeah pretty much everyone is guessing to some extent between attribution windows, tracking loss, and people hopping across devices, it’s never going to line up cleanly most people just pick one baseline and watch direction instead of chasing exact numbers. if you scale spend and total revenue follows, you’re good. if it doesn’t, something’s off a tool like that sounds useful, but the hard part isn’t explaining the gap, it’s actually knowing which number is closest to reality

Correct, no matter the tool. The good thing is that Statlas/CTC have other tools feeding the data sets that are sold separately.

We use Statlas to get close but still not 100% accurate.

Yeah I believe a tool is needed, especially with ad platforms inflating their numbers for various reasons You can use 7Captur, it's pretty useful to determine real roas
