how many emails are you currently "waiting on someone" for right now? like, you sent it, they haven't replied, and it's just sitting in the back of your head. not stressful exactly, but always *there*. the mental list of people who owe you a reply. a contract that needs signing. an invoice someone said they'd sort. a supplier who went quiet. a client who said "I'll get back to you". and then you either forget and it falls through the cracks, or you're manually chasing it across sticky notes, reminders, and calendar alerts. how do you actually handle this? do you have a system or is it just vibes and hoping you remember?

I've been dealing with the same thing. I'm testing something really simple, no app or anything. Just a BCC address you add when you send an email you're waiting on. It logs it and reminds you when nothing comes back. Would you try it for a week and tell me if it actually helps?

Send and snooze is a game changer.

Waiting on replies used to live in my head more than anywhere else and it gets messy fast once client messages and scheduling start stacking. Treating anything waiting on someone else as its own category instead of letting it sit inside inbox chaos changes how heavy it feels day to day. If it’s not replied to yet, it gets tagged and only comes back up on a specific check in point instead of being mentally carried all day. Anything tied to time, like bookings or reschedules, gets pulled into the calendar so it stops relying on memory entirely.
