Gmail - managing follow ups better?

I have been using Gmail for a very long time. I struggle with a few areas: follow ups having to create tasks for each follow up to know when to reach back out keeping with a labeling system Ok - so some of these are due to my poor/inefficient discipline in sticking to things and partially to my ADD. I do use a paper/pen planner to track day to day things and that has been working great. I do receive a lot of email with a lot of different steps within different time loops. This week I have tried to use Gmail's native features to help. I realized that I am not using labels to their fullest so I have remapped my labels to my workflow. That has been helpful. Also I had not been using the Snoozed function but rather tasks. That is cumbersome as the tasks just start racking up. I did start a trial for a few apps. A few observations: the AI drafts are nice and a bit more accurate. but not the biggest in moving the needle. Maybe there are other Gmail addins I could look at or maybe use Gemini more Follow ups by just hitting H and adding a date are very seamless. But that seems like a fairly good comparison to Gmail Snoozed. Labels are easier I feel for some odd reason. This one might just be the UI. Dunno Read notifications are great. Currently use Hubspot CRM for that and do like it being all in one. but again maybe a gmail plugin that can do this as well. I had tested MailTracker a while ago and it seemed like a decent tool. I have also been testing FollowUpThen - this seems to be less than ideal from how follow ups and Gmail Snoozed work. Might not be giving it a fair shake but not sure this seems like the right solution. I do have a few concurrent processes that happen (sales, marketing, hiring). They each have their own processes/stages. Also requiring me to follow up between those stages.
