Hi all, I've got a promotion and have gone from working on 3 projects, to 13. Stress is real - need to get organised. I'm usually a pen and paper type of gal but I need to track meeting better and the safest way to do this is on my laptop. So here's what I'm looking for: - One app - Multiple note books (more than likely this would be separate folders) - Within each note book, I want sections (separate folders) which will be: Project meeting notes (I want each project meeting to be a separate note) to do lists / action points general notes Calendar would be nice - not massively important What I'm really looking for, is ultimately the notes app but a lot more organised. Does anything like this exist? Or am I looking for a unicorn? I know I could probably just use word and folder everything myself, but I need a quick click through system I've looked at Notability / Goodnotes / TickTick, but I feel like these are more quick to do list snippets which is not what I am looking for.

What you are looking for is OneNote

Try GoodNotes. Create a template in Canva and save it as a flatten PDF then import into GoodNotes. I have created a few templates so let me know what you are looking for and I can modify some and send something your way.
Obsidian. I Mean notion orOneNote would work or any of these type of apps work but for someone who likes people obsidian is probably, in my opinion, in the best because it will feel really natural to you, like a blank piece of paper and you can set it up how you want it you can put it in folder. You can make it harder a list you can tag it. You can buy it. You can do anything you can do with people and I think I’ll feel very familiar. There’s really no limit to how you can do it. With any of these sorts of apps, there is a learning going to need to spend a significant amount of time( probably unpaid time, on your own) mastering, but it will pay off pretty quickly. If your organization used, OneNote may do better using whatever everybody else is using.
One note offers it
Microsoft OneNote would be a good fit. Additionally, you could do a Google Sheets/Doc(s) combo. You can set up "tabs" in Docs now, so every meeting could be an easily navigable click. If you're looking for software, you could set something like Asana up to be helpful. I've also seen ClickUp used with this type of functionality. (Currently working with an agency who uses it for their client management.)
Anytype will be good. It combines obsidian and notion
Work related you likely will be Microsoft locked or maybe you have Confluence depending on your space. I would say go with One Note. Work wise the integration of Microsoft everywhere is usually unavoidable. There are opinions but being company locked is real.
For all of the people proposing One Note, Obsidian, Notion, etc., what advantage do those give over the MS or Google suite of productivity apps? (This isn't a call-out or challenge; I'm just honestly trying to wrap my head around adding an app to the stack.
Onenote for sure. I have so many OneNote Notebooks, each one broke down into sections and tabs with subtabs. It's super easy to move or copy a page or whole section from one book to another. You can create page templates for specific sections too. You can also add photos, spreadsheets, screenshots, web links and drawings. There is a quick find option where you can search every notebook at once for something. As far as the calendar goes, there is not one built in. You can create one yourself from a YouTube video and make it super customized. However, OneNote syncs with Outlook pretty well. You can select anything within the book and add it to Outlook Tasks or Outlook calendar straight from OneNote. This is the method I use at work where everything is Microsoft. At home I just copy and paste into Apple tasks or calendar.
I love Notion and xTiles. Currently trying to decide which one I want to lean in to.

Honestly give Obsidian a shot. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you set up your folder structure it is basically a godsend for managing that many projects without losing your mind.
