So I've been working on finding a notetaking and task management solution that works for me using microsoft 365 as this is what is provided at work. Here's how it looks: Take notes in onenote with a few custom tags including actions, ideas and questions When I commit to an actual task, I've taken to creating an outlook task so I can flag and track it So far, so good Now my issue is, I don't have time to go through all my notes from yesterday and decide whether an idea is a task or something I will sort when I get to the meeting next time, or I can park as a CI idea. The solution, outlook is my task manager, 90% of actions come through there and it is the first thing that forces me to pay attention in the morning. Solution: run tags in onenote from previous day to spot any of these 'kind of' actions and thoughts and decide whether to commit to a task or not,and critically, have them emailed to myself daily so I can quickly glance at them, remember where I was yesterday and define a plan of action for the day. So my question is this, can I create a flow that takes all my actions from the previous day (search tags) and email them to me? It seems like such an easy thing, it's effectively reading my physical notebook in the morning, but I'd like to move it online. Anyone else find a solution?

Sounds like a good challenge as my first power automate query. Thank you for the confirmation
So I tried to do this yesterday and my company has blocked the link between onenote and outlook so I can't automate it. However just for fun I tried and had a couple of issues, the first is that I use custom tags so it didn't recognise the format, and the second was that I had to identify a start and end to the string (tag at the start and end) but also had to repeat on each page as I might have multiple tags on the same page. In the end I gave up due to the outlook block but thought I'd share back. Process was good to practice the design though so thanks for your help!
