Open Finder. Browse to directory. Select image. Press Space. Press up/down keys. ?

You can set the folder to grid view and increase the grid icon size. It will preview all the images and it’ll stay that way for next time.

Wasn’t aware of this. Thank you.

This, or left or right depending on the finder view. Uses quick look feature instead of preview.

You mean 3? I don't see a 4

EdgeView’s newest version is 3 correct.

macOS has Quick Look for this: open Finder, select photo, press spacebar and then use up/down arrows to preview each picture. But if you want to use 3rd party app for this, try FastViewer.

You can select all photos and hit cmd+down (same as enter on windows) which would open preview with all photos in the sidebar

Right, but the navigation sucks unless Finder is in list view, and the navigation doesn't even work in full screen.

Select a pic in folder. Tap the space bar. You see the photo blown up. Now... tap the right arrow key to move to the next photo... Magic.

As mentioned above, use Preview! Unfortunately, this option doesn't exist on Windows, which is a shame because it's incredibly practical. Simply press the space bar on a photo to enlarge it, and close it in the same way. It's simple, fast and effective - I couldn't do without it!

Sounds like you want a proper double-click-to-open viewer. Quick Look isn't really going to feel like Windows Photos. Xee³ on the Mac App Store is exactly that. Set it as the default for image types and double-clicking gets you the Windows-style folder navigation with arrow keys. Phiewer is the free option if you want to try the pattern first before paying.

excuse my french but coming from Windows, double tapping any picture from a folder it automatically let you preview all the pictures. That's what i am looking for. to be able to see the pictures, share, edit etc from one windows
