After installing BetterDisplay 4.3.4 (50021) on macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, sometimes after opening the lid (wake from sleep) there will be no Dock on the external displays, I have to "Killall Dock" in CLI to fix it, or reboot. I have a MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max with an LG UltraFine 5K connected via Thunderbolt to one of the USB-C ports, and two LG UltraFine 4K connected in Thunderbolt Daisy Chain mode to the other USB-C port. The problem mostly happens when opening the lid after being sleep for a while (30-60 min) is there a known issue between BetterDisplay and Sequoia? Is there a configuration pin BetterDisplay or macOS I can set to avoid this problem? Any assistance will be appreciated, thank you

Never had this issue before, but I am on Tahoe. Have you tried their customer support?

Thanks, I posted on their discussion forum in GitHub as well

I think BetterDisplay has a setting called "wake delay" or "delay display configuration on wake" where you can set a delay before BetterDisplay starts the configuration. If you increase this delay to a couple seconds (maybe 5), it will give macOS enough time properly detect the displays before BetterDisplay tries to do so. Also sometimes just moving your cursor to the bottom left of your upper display (where the cursor is blocked and cannot slide down into the MacBook screen) and pulling down will force the Dock to trigger and reappear. Don't know if this can help but I hope you find a solution!

Well, I think the first thing is to remove better display and see if that solves the problem. What model of monitor do you have and how is it connected?

How are are all of your displays arranged? You can see it in system settings

so you don’t have an external keyboard and your opening and closing the Mac? Am I getting that right?

I have the same issue and originally thought it was Superchage's fault; I did a fresh install of the OS (Tahoe) but my issue still randomly happens. I'm also connecting the laptop to an external monitor, via a hub. Maybe that's the issue?
