Why no shortcut for Strikethrough in Apple Notes
Here every Item has shortcut but why Strikethrough is missing it in Apple Notes? Does anyone know any work around?

You can add shortcuts by going into system settings, keyboard, keyboard shortcuts, app shortcuts and then add by typing the exact name of the menu item (Strikethrough in this case)
This is an underrated powerful feature of macOS.
thanks will do that, didn't know it
that's true, because they made a whole Reminder App for that feature
got it G, will try the default Keyboard Shortcut method first
Yeah, super weird
maybe they thought we have Reminders app for the exact feature
Yeah it's super unintuitive tbh!
yes, will do that
Yes, you can bind a hotkey for anything in the menu bar using System Settings. It's one of MacOS's best features. Go to Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->App Shortcuts Press the "+" button and choose your app (Apple Notes). Enter the Menu Title "Format->Font->Strikethrough" * Note spelling has to be perfect, including spaces, capitalization, and actual ellipses (unicode U+2026) not three periods. Choose your hotkey and you're done.
wow, didn't know that, thanks, will do that
Strikethrough is probably considered a fairly low-use formatting action, so Apple may not have felt it needed its own dedicated keyboard shortcut.
No app has a shortcut for strike through, on Mac or PC as far as I know. I always thought command tilde would be the most likely candidate
As u/oradecima said. You can also use CustomShortcuts(free) for this. Works on Sequoia. Not sure it works on Tahoe.
Yeah, it's a bit odd. Apple Notes has shortcuts for most formatting options, but strikethrough seems to be missing one by default. One workaround is to use the menu bar: Format → Font → Strikethrough Or you can create your own keyboard shortcut in: System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts → App Shortcuts. I've done this for a few apps where Apple forgot to expose a shortcut.
maybe, it's a bug....
.... ask Apple?
