Flagging problem customer accounts

Turn off automatic payment capture and create a Flow that only fires the payment capture event if the customer doesn't have a blacklist tag. Their order will go through, but the payment is never captured, so when you cancel the order, you don't lose the fees. You should be able to set it up to cancel the order automatically, but I chose to keep it manual so that I can keep an eye on how it's working. You can choose to explain the cancellation or not. By way of blacklisted customers complaining on social media, I know that there are other stores in my niche that just cancel orders without explanation. It's not a good look, regardless of who's right, so I explain it.

This, but we also have it aet up to email us and give us the order number etc. Then it's easy to find and action faster

Tag their customer account and then use Flows to add order notes whenever they order and it sees the tag.

Long story short not natively. Putting all captures to manual would be one way to do it as stated, however if you don't want to go down that road you can take a quick look in the Shopify app store just search up customer blocking or similar
