Hey guys, we sell fine jewelry and with gold prices jumping around so much lately, managing our Shopify catalog has become a little hard. Right now: every morning we export the products to a CSV, run an excel formula to calculate the new prices based on today's rate (factoring in the 22k vs 18k weights and making charges), and then re-import it back into Shopify. This process is a little manual. Is anyone else dealing with this? How are you handling it? Are there any apps for this?? please let me know if you also do the same

You could set the price of each item to a reference price (ex: 5000$) and then with the catalog raise or lower the price
I sell a product that had large price fluctuations a couple years ago. I wrote a little script that updates prices based on our costs we run when receiving inventory. I also have it run nightly for any corrections (sometimes a shipping cost isn’t known until later and our cost is updated after receiving). You could ask AI to make you a script that has your formula in it that just updates your Shopify prices daily.
