App to auto-move files from Downloads
I suspect this may be impossible with scoped storage, but I figured I'd ask. I have an android ebook reader. Chrome doesn't allow me to set a downloads folder other than /Downloads. My books are in /Books. I'm looking for an app that can watch the downloads…
I suspect this may be impossible with scoped storage, but I figured I'd ask. I have an android ebook reader. Chrome doesn't allow me to set a downloads folder other than /Downloads. My books are in /Books. I'm looking for an app that can watch the downloads folder and automatically move *.epub, *.mobi, *.pdf to /Books. Does such a solution exist or is this another example of why scoped storage sucks?

I'm using an obsolete app that still works. SMBsync2 Yes, name suggests it's for SMB but works just as good for auto moving on Android.

You can use fileflow too. I didn't use filepipe so i can't compare them. Hope it helps...
Check 'file navigator' app which is FOSS and avail on github and fdroid.
No es para lo que se creó, pero FolderSync tiene esa opción de mover automáticamente archivos o hacerlo cada cierto tiempo el escaneo para ahorrar batería.
