Ive seen robot lawnmowers and seen them charge from a solar charge point but thought instead the solar panels could be on top of the robot itself. It could be left outside and charge off the sun while not in use ready for the next time its needed. Get it to park in the sun and manage the lawn in an automated way and park out the way when done.

I'm not sure if you could put a large enough solar panel on the mower to efficiently charge it.
