Hi everyone, I'm looking for a free Android app (or any free solution) with these requirements: I can only call a predefined list of phone numbers (whitelist). Only those same selected numbers can call me. Any incoming calls from other numbers should be automatically blocked/rejected. I should not be able to bypass the restriction by opening the normal dialer. No root, if possible. It should be completely free (I'm not looking for paid apps or subscriptions). Basically, I want the phone to work only with a small whitelist of contacts for both incoming and outgoing calls. Does such an app exist? If you've personally used one, I'd really appreciate the recommendation. Thanks!

I should not be able to bypass the restriction by opening the normal dialer How strict does this need to be? Who are you trying to stop from bypassing the restriction? A solution that prevents accidental mistakes is different from one that must prevent a determined person from resetting or modifying the phone. If someone is determined enough they can always find a way around it.
You might also want to look at Android's built-in Focus Mode or Parental Controls if the phone is mainly for a child or elderly family member. They're not a perfect match, but they can restrict app access without needing root. Curious if anyone knows an app that fully locks calls to a whitelist only.
Sounds like you need a parental account/management app. Havent found a good one yet though
