Any steam user here prob knows that it feels good getting those small, sometimes big achievements. An app for getting achievements while also doing activities would be really cool. For example you will get an achievement named "A long trip" for running over 3 miles in a day, or you can get a achievement named "back to the stone age" if you dont use the internet for a whole day. It would also be cool to have daily and weekly challanges. There could also be community achievements for hundreds of them (custom made achievements other than the original ones).

ideas die in the notes app. mock it on Screensdesign, takes minutes, then you'll know if it holds.

that sounds fun. It would be cool if you could compete with people, like a leaderboard (kind of like duolingo)

that’s called gamification, essentially gamifying your life to level up, i always wanted to build that but user acquisition is a nightmare you really need a community of gamification nerds to use it (i am one) if there are enough people, I’d build this in a weekend lol

My app Scythe has this to an extent. You can earn rewards for beating your previous high score on real world todo lists. https://scythe-todo.com

We have a thing like that. It's called Instagram. There's plenty of people showing you they are better then you in every way. Millionaire in their twenties, dozens of cars and houses...don't bother my dude.
