Hey everyone, I’m running into a frustrating issue with my android phone. My toddler is at an age where he likes to grab my phone when I'm asleep or not around, and he ends up spamming the screen with random taps, incorrect patterns/PINs, and messing with the biometric sensors. I checked in AI and saw some suggestions, but they either ask me to change the theft protection, or a setting that doesn't exist. App pinning is not an option either. Has anyone come across this situation, please suggest a solution. Please don't say "Keep phone away from kids" lol.

you cannot fix this using software. it's even worth on apple, so the only solution here, is keep your phone away. I have 2 kids. younger is under a year, so she just trying to grab when she see it
Wtf you mean messing with the biometric sensors? Like Chewing on the phone? This is a parenting issue, not an app issue.
You had to ask AI on how to keep your kids away from your phone? This is the level of parenting we all aspire to, truly.

Respectfully I think the best solution is to come up with a system so that your child doesn't have unsupervised access to your phone. I know it's not what you want to hear but an app is not going to help. They could still throw the phone and break it, injure themself with the glass, etc. Look up better baby-proofing tips in general.
Android's Screen Pinning works great for this (Settings → Accessibility → Screen Pinning or App Pinning, depending on your device). Once pinned, toddlers can't exit the app or mess with anything else. The trick is giving them something actually fun to do in that pinned app — I use Colorinchy (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mywayaround.apps.colorinchy) which is a free, ad-free drawing app for toddlers. Pin it and let them scribble away while you sleep without worrying about your biometrics getting wiped. Works like a charm.

I'm not sure if this will work but, assign his fingerprint, rename it, create a routine if child's fingerprint then open work profile or secure folder. So he has his own space to use.
