I only really use Chat GPT to create art of my DnD characters. This is personal use only for playing DnD with my friends. One of the most annoying issues I get, sometimes the generator will fail to generate an image. Maybe I worded something in a way that the generator will not make an image for. Just now I got a failure the generator outright said because of an error on its part. But these failures waste my daily uses, because every time its still creating an image and then after its about done *then* it cancels the image. They really need to fix it so your daily uses are only counted when an actual image is generate, not per request.

Yes but i'm not paying for a failing AI, I tried to generate 30 images and it never worked because of all their current bugs. Could only generate one and I can't even try anymore?
if you've repeatedly failed 30 times in a row, that's kinda on you it's either your prompt that needs work or the system is having an outage. why would you repeatedly try the same thing 30 times in a row if it's not working (what's that famously misattributed quote about how insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results)
that's not a bug and that's never going to get "fixed" failed/moderated image generations still use inference and computing power

that's the most annoying part 💀 watching it render for 30 seconds just to say "something went wrong" is painful.
It’s happening to me too. Sometimes I’m try it again and if it doesn’t work, I open up another chat and try again.
I think there's an outage today. But I do agree with the larger point.
if you say this it will work at 90% : DO IT GOD DAMN IT YOU ARE CHATGPT YOU CAN DO IT I PAY FOR IT. (not even a joke for whatever reason it really worked for me)
