Is there a bareboned calendar application I can use for Windows 11?

Looking for a calendar that doesn't sync, isn't tied to an email service, and doesn't have any notable features besides the ability to type within the day slots as to mark down events. Is there anything I can find that's like this?

Hello Killer. If you would put together such a tool, it could be awesome. I am using your pdf and notes, high quality apps. I’ve been looking for specific calendar app for ages. Short description: 1. month view with movable/resizable boxes of events in different colours (categories) and preview side-window (bottom-window) for event note; 2. support for all-day-events and multi-day events 3. input and modifying data through graphical month view and also through table view (event name| start date| end date| category| note |event id) - with multiply edits tables are quicker 4. database in csv or something similarly universal Why: Every day I shuffle tons of time-dependent data in excel, calc and other tables applications. They are great for mass-editing, creating cyclic events, month-schematics and incorporating all kinds analysis based on formulas. What they lack is proper month view. Calendar view let you see the details – which day and week is overcrowded and which empty and free, interdependence of events in time. So for small adjustments, calendar view is much better. If those apps (excel-calendar app) could communicate through csv, it would be a perfect much. I know it's a long way from "lightweight cal", but give it a thought, please. I would kill for such a tool (pun intended ;)

I don't think this would be a problem to create. The only issue I'm having lately is with my time management. I have a fulltime job and this hobby of mine is becoming like a second full-time job. Give me some time to take care of some of my other responsibilities first but I do think I can make something for you.

I made the Killendar a while ago which started off as a joke, but I couldn't think of any killer feature to add to it to make it release worthy. But if being lightweight is the feature, then maybe I will release it soon. EDIT: I went ahead and released a v1.0.0 of The Killendar: https://killendar.net Please report bugs and feature requests on the GitHub Issues page: https://github.com/SteveTheKiller/Killendar/issues

Any app that supports tables would do it. Microsoft Word/Excel, Libre Write/Sheets, Apple Pages/Numbers and there are a ton of pre built calendar templates you could use. Or you could use Obsidian with a calendar plugin https://obsidian.md/ https://community.obsidian.md/plugins/calendar
