9.29.1, v11128 Desktop App Formatting Issues

With the Todoist OSX desktop application (9.29.1, v11128 beta), I can't seem to be able to select any of the format options when highlighting the task title text. With the beta turned off, I can interact with all options. Is everyone else able to replicate this issue? Can turn off the experimental features but figured I'd see if I'm alone with this issue.
