looking for a rebolt bundles alternative, it's not on the shopify app store anymore

went to check our bundles this morning and rebolt is just gone from the app store, and it looks like it got deactivated on our store too, because our build-a-box page and volume tiers are now showing as separate full price items. so we're basically bleeding aov in real time… bundles are roughly a third of our revenue so i can't sit on it. the frustrating part is there's no word on whether it's coming back, for anyone who's migrated bundle apps before: what did you move to, how painful was rebuilding the configs and did inventory stay sane during the switch? i mainly need mix and match / build-a-box plus volume discounts that hold up at volume. not chasing the cheapest.

one thing to add to the good advice above: when you run a test order in whatever you trial, refund it too and watch component inventory. most bundle migrations look fine until the first refund or exchange, then counts drift and you oversell quietly. and before committing anywhere, ask the vendor directly what happens to your orders and inventory if the app ever gets pulled like rebolt just did. you now have the exact question they should be able to answer.

if any of your rebolt bundles were describe and save, be careful, a lot of the good bundle apps don't handle subscriptions. foxsell (as mentioned by someone about) for instance is great for one time bundles but doesn't do subs, so if that was part of your mix, you'd need a separate tool for that piece. rebolt tied into recharge, not all of them do
I’d shortlist Simple Bundles first, especially if inventory and fulfillment matter as much as the front-end builder. Whatever you choose, don’t rebuild directly on the live theme: recreate the highest-revenue bundles in a duplicate theme, run test orders through discounts, inventory deduction, refunds, and your 3PL, then switch over. With bundles at a third of revenue, the migration model matters more than saving $20 a month.
on wait vs rebuild: i wouldn't wait. no timeline and no reason from them, and every day down is real money at a third of revenue. rebuild now, and if rebolt comes back you can always reassess then. the cost of rebuilding once is less than the bleed.
easy bundles is worth a look too, does mix and match.
If you aren't looking for many templates, want something very quick to setup, and one that scales by working natively with Shopify's cart transformation and discount functions, try Dealeasy - the support team can also help you with the migrations from Rebolt.
That's a rough one, especially if bundles make up that much of your revenue. I'd be careful not to rush into the first replacement just because the pressure is on. Inventory syncing and discount logic are the two things I'd test first before switching everything over. Even if rebuilding takes a day or two, it's better than finding out after hundreds of orders that something isn't calculating correctly.
Rebolt went away due to a security incident. I don’t know how many stores were actually impacted but we had one that was. We had their checkout embed. For several hours on 07/27, some of the customers on this site who tried to check out were redirected to malicious Shopify-like checkout screens. You may not even know yet that your customers checked out and gave their payment info to someone else. The redirect took the cart payload and put it into the malicious checkout. Not impressed with their handling. Major breach on their end imo with almost no comms. I wouldn’t wait for it to come back. Shit show.
We like Skai Lamma's Easy Bundles. Price is fair, and features are vast. Plus, CS chat is pretty responsive. https://www.skailama.com/shopify-bundle-builder
