Anybody else having trouble accessing recovery keys from a Microsoft account. Page is stuck in a redirecting infinite loop. These would be easy to access for a work machine but something tripped Bitlocker on my bothers home computer and it wants the recovery key. Anyone else experiencing this.

I've always found sign-in to Microsoft sites to be oddly problematic. I keep the recovery codes for my personal devices on a USB drive in a safe as a backup, but not that practical for an organization. My only advice it to keep trying, and perhaps try different access routes, like through the Cloud Office page or whatever you can find where you can log in.

Yup, Microsoft stuff loves to redirect you like 5 times before login, plus like 15 more times after filling the password. For the OP, they have to request the Bitlocker recovery code from the organization.

My favorite is the error stating you've been redirected too many times on an MS site by an MS browser

I was able to access the page by resetting my microsoft account password then the page actually loaded for me, idk if it will work for everyone.

Same here. I’m not gonna lie, I usually don’t comment, but I just spent like 5 hours trying to fix someone’s PC that was stuck dealing with this, and I’m not super familiar with the Windows recovery side of things. Holy fawk, it was a nightmare. I tried a new drive, disabling Secure Boot, every recovery option I could find — you name it, I tried it. The worst part is that none of the recovery options worked. Cloud install? Failed. Local reinstall? Failed. And you can’t even just throw a USB in and reinstall and i’m only assuming that’s something related towards microsoft, in all fuck em. i’m learning linux because microslop is aids

Someone found a possible solution. Change your password then login, page load without issues.

This is the OP's brother's home device, which is why I mentioned my USB stick backup.

Yes, I'm experiencing the same problem. Tag the Microsoft Help page on Twitter and describe your issue. The team will get back to you.

Just seen on a Microsoft question thread re the issue that it works if you log in using some sort of 2 factor authentication. I logged in using code sent to my email and loaded straight away! Still doesn’t work if you log in normally with password but the 2 factor authentication way has worked for couple people

One more thing. If the brother previously used a different email address, but changed it without changing the account, try signing in with the old email name and password.

It's always surprised me how difficult signing into a Microsoft service with my Microsoft account can be.

Tengo 4 días con el mismo problema y no he conseguido que algún técnico de Microsoft de alguna solución efectiva.

I’ve had the same issue last night, seems lots of people having the same issue the past few days. So frustrating since there is no workaround and i was trying to figure out why my laptop was freezing by enabling safe mode and looking at possible files causing the issue, only to now be locked out of it till they fix this bug. I contacted Microsoft support and they said they’ve been receiving reports from many customers worldwide having the same issue, and that it’s been identified as an ongoing bug and they have a team actively working on it. Has apparently been escalated and treated as a priority and will supposedly be resolved within 24-48hrs. So fingers crossed

I'm having the same exact problem. MS gotta get their crap together and stop letting AI and interns and people with fake degrees work on their website. If anyone develops a workaround, I need it ASAP. Gotta get this laptop fixed quick for a client.

si eso parece, la pagina de recuperacion esta cargando una y otra vez y no termina, mi notebook sigue bloqueada y no puedo arreglarla sin el bitlocker
