I launched my SaaS SeoLoupe around 5 weeks ago, so far I am at 1030 users and 12 of them are paying (don't get me wrong, I am still super happy). My SaaS is a tool that allows you to find and fix SEO issues holding your website back. Essentially the main purpose is to help your website rank higher on Google search and LLMs. So far the hardest part is converting users into paying, rather then getting users. I would genuinely appreciate some feedback, and what can be improved. Since I think their is always room for improvement, especially in my case since I have a low conversion rate (like I already said I am thankful for the sales I got, I am just looking to scale). (here is the product if you want to check it out)

12 paid from 1030 users is not automatically bad; it just means your free tier is probably doing too much or the upgrade moment is too vague. I'd check 3 things before touching acquisition: what event happens right before someone pays? are free users seeing a clear dollar/value outcome, or just a long SEO report? can you make the first paid action painfully specific, e.g. "fix these 5 pages / export client report / monitor these keywords"? More traffic won't fix a fuzzy paywall. Annoying truth, but usually cheaper to learn now.

Thanks for the advice.

Targeting agencies and freelance SEOs is actually smart, thanks.

All of my users are coming from Reddit.

Ironically yes. In fact I used my own tool to fix issues on the website.

How’s that going for you?

You might actually have a positioning problem rather than a product problem. If 1,000+ people signed up easily but won't pay, you might be accidentally attracting low-budget hobbyists who never intend to spend money.Try changing your marketing copy to target agencies or freelance SEOs instead of solo founders. Agencies love tools like this because they can white-label the reports and hand them straight to clients. If you target people who make money using your tool, charging $50–$100 a month becomes a no-brainer for them.Instead of chasing more signups, try doing a quick email blast to your current users asking what they use it for. Their answers will tell you exactly who is willing to pay.

Are the 12 paying users coming from a specific channel or doing something different in-app compared to the ones who churn? Looking at what your best users have in common usually tells you more than trying to optimize the landing page.

Do you use seo?

You need a sales funnel that converts visitors into leads and sales. Hmu if you want to see what it looks like and I’ll share the exact one I did for a SaaS company.
