I need help figuring out which car to buy. I used to drive a bmw x4 m40i. So I’m like sporty cars, but now that I have a toddler and newborn, I need something bigger so I can carpool with my family. We all live the same city, so we are always carpooling places. I wanted a Lexus gx really bad but they’re rare and kinda expensive so I gave up. Now I’m looking at either a Toyota 4Runner limited or Lexus tx350 premium. I’m leaning toward the TX because it’s more spacious and will comfortable for the kids. I also love the panoramic roof. I saw a lot of complains about how the TX feels underpoweredIs, but is it really a deal breaker?I’m looking for something reliable and comfortable. I work full time and use public transportation to commute to my job so I need car just for weekends. I don’t want a crazy monthly payment since it will the family car, I don’t want to buy something that depreciate crazy.

What is your budget? They depreciate a lot… you could potentially get a CPO with good service coverage

AVOID 4runner, completely out of place and horrible for this purpose Reagrding Lexus Tx avoid the 350 base engine, 500h is more powerful and better More fun to drive: Mazda CX-90 3.3T I6 (avoid the PHEV) Dodge Durango GT V8, the 5.7 V8 starts at $40k new If a spacious 2-row is an option: Subaru Outback TURBO Are EVs an option or do you need to drive long distance without any charging stops?
