Hi all, I hope you are doing well. I’m currently looking for a new credit card as I am in college and my expenses will be going up the next couple of years so I was looking for a better card for better rewards. Some stuff about me Cards: 1 (Chase Freedom Rise -> Chase Freedom Unlimited) Date: Slightly over 2 years opened. Oldest account age (including authorized): 10 years opened My income: 20k USD (combination of my job and parental support) FICO Score (according to Experian): 780-785 (a range just in case) Never missed a payment and I’ve had a pretty good relationship with Chase to my knowledge. Was wondering if I should try to go for another card in Chase or even will expand out of Chase if possible. A card I am looking at and would like is the Capital One Savor. But I would like to know if it’s realistic or if I should go for another card. Thank you so much and have a good day

Savor is a nice card w/some decent multipliers. Also a good credit builder card. You may not like this, but I would wait a little while i’m getting another Chase card because your next step in the Chase ecosystem is probably getting an annual fee card like the CSP or CSR. My opinion.
Hi hi. Thank you so much for responding. I had a couple questions if you are ok with responding How reliable is the website? When I entered my information, it did say I qualified for the card. I’m just a bit worried of the hard pull, then a rejection after it initially said I qualified. Would you say go for Savor -> Another Chase card in a couple years after college? I don’t travel much and to my knowledge CSP and CSR seem more travel oriented. Obviously if I get Savor, if I do plan to get a travel card in the future, I’ll look at the Venture series. The website is provided by them so it should be reliable. You are not guaranteed approval and they do a hard pull but if nothing‘s happened within a week to your credit, you’re approved. As to your second question, Chase doesn’t get into some of the double cash back cards l, etc. if that’s what you’re into but these are the steps you take to get to where you wanna go. As time goes on, you start to grow out of some of your cards because your needs change. I went from bankruptcy, to a secured card, to an unsecured card, then the cashback cards. Right now I’m moving more towards the AF Chase cards provide that for me.
