Hi everyone! I'm making the jump to pc from console soon and was hoping you could have a look at this parts list for me, please? I've done a little bit of research but I'm finding it a bit overwhelming. Budget: £1400 max. Preferably cheaper without losing too much performance. Use-case: Mostly gaming but I would to dabble in music production and possibly editing gaming clips. Gaming is a must. Everything else is a plus. Country of purchase: UK Peripherals needed: None. I currently have a xbox series x, to give you an idea of the performance I'm used to and I play most games aside from sports and racing. Because of that I'm thinking a am5 build targeting 1080p@60fps with the thought of upgrading to 1440p at a later date. Start with 16gb ram with one stick, and save up to buy another at a later date (hopefully if prices go down). I’d either spend that extra money on an rx 9070 non-xt for around £560-580 or save it instead. The 9060 xt 16gb is great for 1080p ultra at 100fps, but lags behind at 1440p high and will only get worse with newer releases, hence why I recommend the rx 9070 if you plan to go to 1440p. Also to mention, you can defo get a cheaper case if you want to save a bit more, and don’t forget to budget for case fans. Hope that helped!
I've been on the fence about about the 9070 purely because of budget but i think you're right. I'm going to grit my teeth and take the hit with ram. The price of xboxs have increased again so i probably sell it cheap to keep the ram and upgrade the gpu. Thanks for the advice!

(dont like rgb? turn it off) -u picked shitty nvme... so i just changed to equally shitty nvme but cheaper. -i guess u read somewhere that nitro+ is the best version? well its not worth that price gap, just get the cheapest. -cheaper case. (dont like rgb? turn it off) -better psu for the same price. with the money saved well u can save it or: -upgrade CPU to 7800X3D. (imo better upgrade than upgrade GPU in your case since u will be playing at 1080p and u do care about other tasks and it have more cores...) -or upgrade GPU 9070xt ideally but i think its over your budget... -you can also get more quality nvme like NM790 that have decent price in your region. or upgrade to 2tb nvme, i saw this very high quality drive, but the 206gbp price in that store is 'coming soon' idk maybe call them and ask...
As you are in the UK, why not consider CEX to save some money, especially on ram and storage? You can also buy cpu and gpu too but id always recommend going in person to view the condition
