Help me choose a CPU for RTX4060
I have a prebuilt workstation pc with a upgraded GPU and i wish to upgrade it. What CPU would least bottleneck it with a 4060. Also is it worth to upgrade the ram if i have 32gb, but might not be the fastest?

Intel Xeon W-2125
Intel Xeon W-2125 and just use a 1920x1080 165hz monitor, but im thinking maybe upgrading and using that as a secondary monitor.

ok there's not much upgrading that, you'll need a new board and CPU. I'd go with an inexpensive AM4 board and a Ryzen 5 5600. That'd be a major upgrade and would definitely not bottleneck your 4060.

Getting on AM4 with a B550 motherboard + 5600, 5600x, 5700x or etc + reusing your RAM would probably be the cheapest route. Those CPU’s will probably have to be bought used Could go the Intel route with a B660 + 12400f + old RAM The most up to date, but probably expensive route, would be AM5, with a B650 or B850 + 7500f, 7600(x), 9600x + DDR5 RAM Like I said the 4060 doesn’t need much, so you could opt for a cheaper 8400f on AM5 that’s going to perform more like the mentioned AM4 CPUs I would not go higher than 1080p 144hz-180hz with the 4060
Agreed. Both will require new mobo, but keep ddr4 ram. 5800x3d would max out ddr4 options. Unless your Xeon is using ECC ram which won't work with either of these, then I'd jump up to a ddr5 platform. Core 5 Ultra 250k + would be require new ddr5 but is actually less for mobo+cpu than 5800x3d, I'd consider it next step up the bang for buck chain.
i don't think a 4060 deserve such a high cpus , i mean there are people building 5080 or 5070 ti with 5800x3d , i it was me, i would just pair this 4060 with a mid to low tier cpu like 5500 and then after few years sell the whole pc and then get a new decent build. i had a 4060 system myself, i sold t and got a am5 build with 5070 ti. I think even if he get a low end cpu like i3 13100 would handles that 4060 enough.
32gb is very solid, what CPU do you have right now?
The entire pc specs? What resolution monitor? Or at least what cpu do you have? That will tell us what motherboard you have, what kind of RAM you have 4060 really doesn’t need much
