Kind of a niche BIFL request I suppose - but I’ve been trying for 6 years and can’t find a dog water dispensing bottle (similar to pictured) that lasts more than 6 months to a year. I’ve tried different brands, the ones pictured and similar. They’re much easier than carrying a regular water bottle and a bowl. Do they exist somewhere, or am I doomed to buy cheap Amazon versions every so often?

A standard human water bottle and a collapsable bowl works for me. If you are determined on it being a dog water bottle, sorry I cannot help.
Doesn't have a casual water chute on it. Tbh feel that's the failure point here.
Collapsible bowl attached to the leash is the way. On a hike with a water bottle for yourself? Well, you’ve got water for the dog, too. At the dog park with drinking fountains for the kids? Well, you’ve got water for the dog, too.
Wtf is that picture? Have they never seen a dog drink?
Was using one today for this purpose! Only downfall was the lack of handle to comfortably hold
How could something like this possibly be BIFL?
What about an classic Stanley thermos with the cup that screws on the top? The kind people would put coffee in to go out fishing or hunting for the day. If your dog is small enough that should work I don't use mine super often, but I have a Springer water bottle and I can't really see an easy failure point on it. Might be worth a shot

I love my dogs. But I ain't buying a dog water bottle unless they're carrying it like a St Bernard. I could offer my dogs bottle glacier water and they'd still drink from a dirty puddle
