Is a 2009 Civic Si with 58k miles a good idea?

I loveeee them so much and wanna learn manual on it so baddd! But my main concerns are is it a good daily commute car for 30 mile commute one way? is the gas mpg and having to use 91+ worth it? And is it good/worth it for tastful upgrading/modding later on down the line Edit: It was either that or a 2019 Civic Sport Manual to daily drive for now cause that gets better mpg and uses 87, so should I get the Si or should I get the more ergonomic and smart for rn commuting Civic sport?

58k miles is basically nothing for that car, that's a unicorn find honestly. 30 mile commute each way is fine, the Si is still a civic at heart, it's not some punishing track toy. gas mileage will take a hit if you're constantly in vtec but drive it normal and you'll be fine the 2019 sport is the sensible choice but you've wanted this exact Si since you were a kid, that's not a feeling you should ignore. learning stick on an Si is perfect, the shifter is one of the best honda ever made and the clutch is forgiving enough to learn on
I'm really really torn.. my girlfriend thinks its a very dumb choice that I want a quote "fun car that uses the dumb gas" for a daily.. but also she's very supportive of my passion for cars. She just thinks that for now I wait to get a "fun" car and get a more reliable daily for now before then you know... but I would wanna keep that Si for like as long as a can vs trading in the other civic for a "fun" car later on which would probably be a performance civic (ie type r or Si) or a japanese performance car like a wrx sti or something you know?
