Cracks developed on 4x6 post after installation

I replaced my 4x6 post which bears weight on the second floor overhang. I did not paint the entire post just yet because I thought I’d let it dry for a few weeks. I just noticed some cracks developed which were not there when I installed it. Will this affect the integrity of the post? Pics below: https://imgur.com/a/IQBfhca

Looks like normal checking, which happens as the lumber dries. Generally not an issue.

And to add on, all the load calculations that go into the lumber account for checking, do none of this is making the timber weaker than it's "supposed to" be.
Yep normal checking. No stress. Good to keep any eye out though. If you get splintering or bowing, you may need to take action.
Same thing happened to my deck then it stopped once it was fully dried. Years later, no changes.
fairly normal. paint/seal it at the ass end of summer and get a good amount of product in those checks.
Normal checking. No reason to do anything.
- large wood members will form wood checks as it dries out, pretty normal if the post was adequately designed for the loading
