Com.motorola.android.overlay with endings such as launcher, config, core settings ext, call redirect, networkstack.mcc460, etc. Are these safe? Those are normal Motorola system packages, not malware. The "overlay" in their names refers to Android's Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO) system, which manufacturers use to customize Android for different devices, regions, carriers, and features. They're safe to leave alone, and removing or disabling them can cause parts of the system to stop working correctly.
Thank you for clearing that up for me. I appreciate it.
It is all legit.
