Card Rec for a College Student using CC on Gas and wanting to earn points

I’m trying to find a credit card that is friendly to first-timers and has some perks. I would love any recommendations! I plan on only using the CC for gas and possibly groceries. -beginner friendly -No annual fee -extra points for gas -possibly transferable to airplane miles Also any info on how Cash-Back works would be appreciated. It kind of sounds too good to be true and I don’t know if it is better than cards that earn points. Thank you!

The Citi strata card gives you 3x points on gas and groceries but the transfer ratios are nerfed since the card is a no annual fee card you’ll have to get the strata premier if you want the normal transfer ratios to airline and hotels. The Wells Fargo auto graph card also gives you 3x on gas and among other things as well. And cash is as it sounds let’s say you get 3 percent cash back on your 10 dollar fast food then you get .30 cents back.
