Hi all! I'm a 19-year-old female in the US, and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I'm hoping for help deciding what's best for my skin. I have pretty dry/ sensitive skin. Photos attached for a better idea. Keep in mind this is a milder breakout. What I currently use: • Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar (cleanser) • CeraVe gentle moisturizer • CeraVe Sheer sunscreen SPF 30 Some background: • I used to use Curology's monthly box, and my skin looked the best it ever has when I was on it! • Keeping that formula in mind, I'm thinking about asking my doctor for azelaic acid and a clindamycin/BP combo. • I also have back, chest and hairline acne My questions: Should I start using a retinoid now? One thing to keep in mind - adapalene dried my skin out soooo bad. Does this seem like a good setup for my skin? Have any of you had luck with something similar? Any other advice on products I should be using is more than appreciated! :) Thanks so much!
