I’m looking to buy my first amg benz. I can’t decide I would ideally like to own all 3 at some point as I like all 3 for different reasons. Which one would you pick and why? (Money is not an issue) Or you can rank them in your preferred order but give your reasons. The cars in question: Facelift CLS63 2015-2018 Facelift E63s 2021-2023 Facelift S63 2018-2020

E class is the natural middle ground here. Not rocket science, but if you like them all it seems like a good jumping off point

The wagon is the only correct answer to any AMG question, but between these three I’d take the CLS63. That generation still looks like a concept car that escaped, and the engine note has actual personality compared to the later stuff. The E63s is faster on paper but somehow more sterile, and the S63 is just a missile in a tuxedo… great but you’d feel like you should be in the back seat being driven around.

I definitely agree that’s why I’m considering it and the S63 is very fast as well
Why do you love it over the others?
I feel like you don’t see them often, just looks tough and sporty.
I think the CLS is the best looking and is it’s much less common. It occupies a niche between an E and the S.

This sub primarily exists for glazing of Toyotas. It's not a car enthusiast sub.

Great choice actually. I’m just not a fan of the station wagons in general.
that generation kinda IS a concept car that escaped. it's a mix between the CSC, and CLS Concept of the 2000s.
CLS S E
CLS most old school raw AMG with the rumbly 5.5 Bi-Turbo V8. Oldest interior and infotainment tech. E-class fastest of the bunch with modern 4.0 Bi-Turbo V8 but harshest ride. S-class still very fast but slowest, heaviest and most comfortable of the bunch with modern 4.0 bi-Turbo V8. Great for straight line speed or if you plan to mainly drive on highways.

E63s ! Never liked body on CLS, S class too big. E class has always been sweet spot for me. Good luck on whichever you choose… Enjoy the hunt, sometimes that is the best part.
in this case, E. it's the newest of the bunch when it comes to tech and design.
