Im trying to buy a new car soon and i found one i like (used car), which i would be financing . Im wondering if this is ok for the mileage or if I should preferably keep looking for one with less miles or one thats cheaper. Its a Honda accord 2012 w/ 143k miles for approx. under 9k. It would more than likely take me 2/3 years to pay off which is why im wondering if its worth it at all 😣 Any advice or comment will be helpful!! I know absolutely nothing about cars so I would appreciate it and definitely not take anything personal !!

that price feels steep for 143k miles even on a honda. my 09 accord made it to 210k before i let it go but i paid way less for it at 130k. if you're financing over 3 years you might be underwater on it before it's paid off, i'd keep hunting

Unfortunately where i live they LOVEEE to sell horrible cars and love to up the price on ANY car no matter the mileage. I appreciate it thank you!!!

That's a bit of mileage at that price. The other problem is you're going to get a horrible rate if you're trying to finance a 14 year old car with almost 150k on it. But in general an accord is obviously a good solid choice. If you don't need the space, you might want to look for maybe civic, mazda3, or a corolla at that price point. Hopefully it will be a little bit newer and or lower mileage.

Accords are reliable but 9k for 143k miles is high, financing that much on a car already halfway through its life is risky if anything major goes wrong. I'd get a pre purchase inspection at minimum, or honestly keep looking for something with undet 100k for similar
