I’ve had this condition for about 3 years now after never using any face products and my face was super clean and smooth but after this flare up I went to a dermatologist and they mentioned I can’t process a normal fungus that most people can handle without treatment. I forgot the name of the condition but if anyone has something similar and has had a product genuinely help ease it I’d really appreciate it. It gets to the point where it hurts to smile or raise my eyebrows 😭(pic was taken right after shower using cerave hydrating face wash and gentle face moisturizer)

Is nizoral shampoo safe for use directly on my face ?
I really appreciate the advice. Mine is usually like this all year round unfortunately living in Texas the sun makes my face feel like I’m getting stabbed by needles 😭
I will say also Nizoral shampoo does work as well and I do use it but it is very drying. If you use it then make sure to keep your skin hydrated with fungal safe products! I hate that it is year round for you. I hope it helps
Yes, but it can be very drying so if you do use it, follow up with a good moisturizer
Nizoral shampoo!
Yep! Use it in your beard, eyebrows, hair, everywhere on your head to kill off the yeast. I’d use it daily until your rash goes away completely then maintenance 2-3x per week.
And ketoconazole cream for occasional use on the face.
This website will be your best friend: https://www.sezia.co This will tell you if the products you are using are fungal safe. Looks like you are dealing with seb derm and should only use fungal safe products. I use Vanicream facial cleaner + 345 relief cream then use MCT oil for my daily skin regiment! Sen derm sucks, mine flares up really bad when it’s cold. I would not use any hot water on your face just lukewarm and to be gentle with your skin - if you use to harsh of products it will strip your skin barrier and will make it worse. Good luck!
Sulfur soap. Literally all you need.
Ketoconazole 2% shampoo works wonders too! Make sure to moisturise after too 😊
