I don't spend extravagantly and only use my one credit card for rent, groceries, restuarants, gas, and household things. Its just for me and I definitely want to maximize cashback as well as accumulate travel points. Ill be visiting my boyfriend in North Carolina (via Delta) and my parents in DC (via United) which are exclusively separate to the airport i fly out of near NYC. These trips will most likely be once a month not including medical school related travel in the future. i intend on visiting family in india annually as well as international teavel at least twice a year. Ive done a fair bit of research on credit cards and im thoroughly confused on what cards would benefit my situation.
