Clutch making a noise when first moving after full stop
- 2018 civic si - 1.5L turbocharged inline 4 i’ve only ever heard the noise when i’m either a) starting uphill or b) after rolling back (as pictured in video) , I just want to know what this could be and if i’m gonna need a new clutch

Throw out bearing most likely and probably new clutch kit including pressure plate, hard to tell really from the video.
preciate it
Don't take my word for it. I was searching for the squeek metallic sound my car was making for 2 years and many mechanics. Some agreed that starting to move made the sound like a failing throw out bearing - changed whole clutch to a stage 1 performance ~ 450 HP and the noise was still there, turned out to be the rear sway bar bushings and end links and LCA bushings were squeaking and grinding but sounded like it came from elsewhere. After I had the rear rebuilt with all urethane bushings and sound was gone, I also did the entire front of the Mustang suspension and steering, ball joints etc. Now it's like straight off the showroom floor or better, handling and precision. A bit louder over bumps etc but stiffer and won't die at another 70K like most OEM parts in any car. Tie rods are important at that age too.
