Hi everyone, I’ve been having some issues booting up my PC for a while now (black screen until Windows loads, HDMI signal problems, etc.), and everything points to my trusty 8 GB RX 580 being on its last legs. Since I’m going to do a clean install on my computer anyway, I want to replace the graphics card without having to touch the rest of the components. My current PC: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard: Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming Power: Corsair 650W RAM: 16 GB DDR4 SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe (500 GB) Current GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB I only game at 1080p, and the idea is to spend between €200 and €300 to keep playing comfortably for a couple more years without causing a major bottleneck. From what I’ve been looking at, I have these options in mind: RX 6600 (~€200): The most affordable option. From what I can tell, it performs twice as well as the 580 and uses very little power. RX 7600 (~€260): AMD’s direct successor, offering a bit more power and access to FSR 3. RTX 4060 (~€290–€300): It pushes the budget to the limit, but DLSS 3 and its efficiency are tempting. Intel Arc B580 (~€260): 12 GB of VRAM for the price—while the others offer 8 GB—but I’m not sure how stable it is right now. Which one do you think is the most balanced for this setup? You'll want AMD because Nvidia has higher CPU overhead, and Intel even higher CPU overhead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLEIJhunaW8 Also, the 6600 has access to FSR 3, and will get FSR 4 at some point in 1H 2027 (per AMD), the 7600 has FSR 4 currently.

it had a problem like that but it's solved at latest drivers. he can play at higher settings to keep bottleneck as low as possible

Only because I personally got one for £200, a good example and it's pretty decent. I've seen for less.
Something with 12GB or more if possible as 8GB isn't great even for 1080p. So 6700XT/7700XT/9060XT 16GB, if not that then 7600 or 9060XT 8GB are fine enough.
Thanks for the review! Yeah, the 9060XT/5060 is out of my price range. Ideally, it would cost less than 300 €. I'm seriously considering the 7600.....
What about the 6700xt, 12gb, 1440p performance, RT, and affordable with FSR4 being integrated.
As others have explained, the B580 has issues with having higher CPU overhead (i.e. less CPU power can go to the game). What kind of power supply do you have, that is a limiting factor in possible GPUs. Apart from that, I would suggest looking for a second hand 6000 or 7000 series AMD card, if you're open to second hand components.

Your X470 MB is PCIE 3.0 so i would stay away from 8gb 8x cards (all the cards you posted are 8x) since your performance will absolutely tank if you ever need more then 8gb vram, the B580 has more vram but is a bit CPU limited still the best option i think. But maybe you can find a better deal for a used card somewhere.
I have a 6600XT, it was being dragged down by the 3600x. Specially the 1% lows. Later I got a 6800 but I saw no major improvements due to cpu bottleneck. Ended up returning it and got a 5700x3D cpu and I'm still rocking my 6600XT. I play he's like PUBG and CS. I have a second rig with 3600x/3060 12GB that performs very similarly to the 6600XT.
Overall of them the 4060 is tied with the b580 in raw power as the bests GPUs of the list (according to the techpowerup GPU database), but you can try find a refurbished 3060 ti or 5060, the 5060 is a little bit better than both 4060 and b580, tho sadly it costs 350€ nowadays

I would take the b580, I think that the drivers are fine
b580 , great performance, xess is good and it has multi FG , 12gb of vram , and drivers getting better every day.
