Minivan makes loud “glug glug” sounds when I turn off engine after driving

2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. Any idea what this is or why it’s happening? Thanks in advance.

Temp gauge is pretty much always normal, doesn’t go above middle.

sounds like coolant boiling off in the reservoir, check your coolant level when it's cold

Check your coolant level in the morning, if its low it could be because its boiling in the system from either a fan not coming on or clogged radiator or a faulty water pump. Does the temp gauge go above the middle or stay below operating temp? I had a grand caravan doing this exact same thing but would boil when I tried to bleed to coolant. Ended up being water pump

I think your cooling system is airlocked and coolant isn't circulating properly. Let it cool down, start it from cold then open the bleed nipples one at a time from top to bottom until you get bubble-free coolant from each. Top up if necessary. Squeezing hoses and revving the engine may be required to tease any bubbles out. If this fixes it, the next question is where the coolant went and how the air got in. You may be looking at a leak from a radiator or hose, or if this fault has been present for a while there may be headgasket or head issues.
