Hello everyone, currently figuring out all the cables on my new build. So I’m at the CPU cable, the 4+4 connectors. Is only one of these meant to be used? Or do I have to use 2cables and leave one 4 pin hanging out? https://imgur.com/a/aAHvviA (using a Ryzen 7, 9850x3d)

You can use only one, the extra 4 pin is for extra power hungry cpus or overclocking, basically where more power is required.
Yeah so the top one is filled out and the small 2x2 (single 4pin) is empty?
8-pin Contact into the mobo primary 8-pin (ATX_12V). The extra 4-pin outlet beside the (ATX_12V1) leave empty. The pic doesn't work - think you are out of space or smt.

Ryzen 7 9850X3D build, you should combine the two 4-pin halves of a single CPU cable to form one 8-pin connector and plug that into the motherboard’s primary 8-pin socket.
