Hey guys, just trying to get some input before I go to the dealership. I have a 1999 Nissan maxima as a secondary back up vehicle. It has sluggish acceleration only from a complete stop, and once it gets to around 20mph it’s fine. Only code I’m getting is a p0600. Automatic transmission seems to shift fine. My only symptoms that made me use the scanner was a check engine light and the sluggish acceleration. Any ideas what it could be? Recent work: new knock sensor, new spark plugs, new valve cover gaskets. The issue was before this work was done and still ongoing.

P0600 is the ECU complaining it's getting implausible signals from the other control units in the car. First things to check are the battery voltage when cranking, the main earth at the battery negative lead and the charging voltage from the alternator If all these are fine, you might be looking at worn insulation in a loom or a rusty connector somewhere.
