Thinking of a first car...
I've been looking at cars to snatch for my first car that's purely mine and not borrowed from my parents. I was thinking of a 2018 (or in that model) VW Golf. Open to suggestions but please comment on my choice first

If you are in the UK or Europe, Golfs are everywhere and they are pretty decent cars. By 2018, I am pretty sure they had worked out the issues the EA888 engine had in earlier years. If you will be driving ins congested cities, you might want a smaller car, however. Especially if you will have to scrounge up street parking, sometimes having a smaller car is the difference between fitting in or not.
Nah I'm in Texas but I just think golfs are cool
golf’s fine but check insurance first before you fall in love with it, can be a shock for new driver also yeah the mk7.5 sorted most issues from earlier ones so you’re not picking a lemon at least
