Autopay only paid part of statement balance?
My statement balance was $1,035.10, but my autopay only paid $237.10. The checking account I have set to autopay has enough money for my outstanding balance, not just the statement balance. Do I need to worry about any late payment fees?

$1035 was your current balance or statement balance?
I doubt $237.10 was the minimum payment, usually the other choices for auto pay are last statement balance and sometimes current balance. I bet OP is ok and will the remainder will show up in next month's statement balance. The statement balance from last month's bill would reveal all.
Yeah, I don't think that's the minimum either (as in they didn't accidentally select 'minimum payment' and that was the amount paid) but who knows if OP previously set up auto pay for a specific amount (as one can usually do) and forgot to change it back to one of the more general options (or thought it would only apply to that billing cycle) - it's not likely, but might as well check to be sure. It's not uncommon for missing info from the OP to be the exact answer to their question and I like to think outside the box a little haha.
I'm with u/schuby94 on this one - I suspect $1,035.10 may be your current balance (current statement balance plus charges since that statement was generated) and $237.10 is what you actually owe, aka the actual statement balance. A screen shot, or knowing which bank/issuer might help. I'd also double check your auto pay settings.
You can setup autopay to only pay the minimum balance instead of the statement balance. Make sure said option isn't selected.
No, as long as the minimum amount due was met in the payment. You will owe some some additional interest next period though. If the due date has not arrived, you should still be able to make a manual payment for the rest of the amount due.
Autopay pays the statement balance minus subsequent payments and credits, usually called the remaining statement balance.
(Not financial advice) Not exactly sure about your case, but, it has most prob paid the Outstanding statement balance from your last closing date. Any extra balance on the card after the closing date should be paid by it next due date. Remember: There is no harm in calling your bank and clearing up these confusions or suspected issues. They are there to help you, not judge your financial literacy. Edit: did you ask chatgpt? It might not be the best for advice but good for clarification if you tell ityour exact situation.
