Hello, all. A friend of mine is looking for a financial advisor who specializes in situations involving older people & disability. Most of the people he has contacted so far only work with people who are working and have big portfolios: he is disabled and only a has small portfolio. Are there per-hour financial advisors who specialize in working with people in these more difficult situations?

Look for special needs advisors. 'Older people' would be the ones who generally use advisors. Disabled may need one who has more experience with special programs and different medical needs, etc.
