Hiya, I drive a 2015 1.6l diesel ford fiesta (Mk 7). Today I had a long drive and towards the end the air conditioning wasn’t blowing properly when I set it to the max. Almost no output at all. Parked up and noticed fluid dropping to the road. Pipes were dripping condensation and rings of ice was dropping onto the road as it melted. Maybe this is just a blockage issue, or further? Some advice here would be helpful and I will take it to a garage when I first get the chance, but just moved into a new home so many plates spinning right now. I have circled the affected pipelines. Thanks in advance.

This what I was thinking, but there was a restriction on flow into the cabin, but perhaps I just got a build up or a bigger overall issue. Hence the post :)

Sounds like your aircon decided to become an icemaker. Every automotive A/C system I've ever worked on or even read about has some sort of mechanism to prevent the evaporator core from getting too cold for too long. Modern cars have a little sensor on the evaporator core which reports the temperature to one of the control modules which then determines the best way to keep the temperature from dipping below freezing. Some cars will simply shut off the compressor for a few seconds, others will decrease system capacity by decreasing compressor displacement. Your car has a fault somewhere in this system, evaporator temperature sensor failures are fairly common but it could be something else. As a temporary workaround, just hit the A/C button on the controls to shut off the compressor for a bit and let things thaw out. Be sure to leave the blower running to help the thawing process along.
It sounds more like a lack of airflow through the evaporator than any issue with the refrigeration loop itself, given the condensate and ice. I'd maybe be having a look at the cabin filter, or the cabin fan resistor if the fan isn't rotating.
