I’m a 21-year-old woman looking for a small car in Buenos Aires. I previously owned a Peugeot 2008, but I didn’t like it. It felt too big and was difficult to park; the multimedia system often failed, the screen only worked with a specific cable, and the tyre-pressure warning constantly appeared. The battery also suddenly died and had to be replaced. I’m now looking for something compact, reliable and easy to park. I’d also like a car with spare parts that are affordable and easy to find in Argentina. What models would you recommend?

my cousin in cordoba had a similar nightmare with her 2008, drove her up the wall with the electrical gremlins for buenos aires parking you want something you can squeeze into a spot the size of a shopping cart, look at a toyota etios hatch if you can find a clean used one, they're boring as hell to look at but the parts situation here is great and mechanics don't charge you a kidney for basic work the other obvious pick is a vw gol, it's basically the unofficial car of argentina, you can find parts in a kiosco at 2am, and the newer trendline ones are pretty comfortable for what they are if you want something with a little more style the ford ka hatch is fun to zip around in and the 1.5 engine is simple enough that most shops know it inside out, just avoid the ones with the powershift automatic, stick to manual and you'll be fine
