Retail Phone System, Gorgias Voice or other recommendations.
Has anyone here actually used Gorgias Voice? How has it been in day to day use? Any connection or downtime issues? Do you have any regrets after porting your number? Does it work through an app? More broadly, if you run a brick & mortar store, what phone…
Has anyone here actually used Gorgias Voice? How has it been in day to day use? Any connection or downtime issues? Do you have any regrets after porting your number? Does it work through an app? More broadly, if you run a brick & mortar store, what phone system are you using alongside? I'm especially interested in setups with an IRV and where multiple staff can answer calls and texts from iPhones/iPads without relying on one physical phone (Currently using RingCentral). Background: Ultimately, I'm trying to move to a more unified omnichannel platform that handles Shopify, SMS, email, and ideally voice in one place. I've been testing several options (Gorgias, Freshdesk, Zendesk, Re:Am azeetc.), but sms and voice seems to be tricky. I have a brick and mortar retail space that uses Shopify via iPhone and iPads. Our customers mainly communicate with us through SMS. So for our phone/text, we use RingCentral. I like the IVR phone tree. This has helped eliminate the “where are you located” phone calls. We also have a large space and a downstairs storage area so the app allows for calls and text on multiple devices including our iPads. Also, the price was also far better than cellular. But it has limited me on my options for finding a platform. Also the spam SMS messages are overwhelming and they don't have a way to filter them but that is a different issue.

Your problem appears to be less about adding another phone tool and more about creating one operational layer across Shopify, SMS, email and voice. I’m the founder of Quantara Flow AI, which is designed around unified cases, channel history and automation.
