I’m currently furnishing my house, and I realized that one of the most exhausting parts is not choosing what to buy. It is contacting dozens of stores just to collect basic information. When looking for furniture, I usually have to: Find stores on Google and Instagram Message each one on WhatsApp Send the same reference photos repeatedly Explain what I’m looking for again and again Ask about price, delivery time, colors, financing, and availability Wait for replies Manually compare all the conversations afterward In the end, I spend hours repeating almost the same conversation with different businesses. That made me think about an AI-powered buying agent. I would describe the furniture I need once, upload some reference images, and define my budget. The AI would then find relevant stores, contact them, send my requirements, collect their responses, and create an organized comparison including: Available products Prices Delivery times Payment options Similarity to the reference images Important notes The main value would not simply be price comparison. It would be outsourcing the repetitive work of research, communication, and organization. Initially, I imagine this as an AI-assisted service rather than a fully automated platform. Does anyone else experience this problem? Would you pay to receive this research already organized, or does this sound like something people would find useful but would not actually pay for? I also suspect the model might work better in recurring purchasing markets, such as construction materials, architects, interior designers, and small construction companies. I’m looking for honest criticism: where do you think this idea would fail?

I think there's a kernel of a good idea here but if you started looking at it as an AI interior decorator you probably have more immediate traction. Show AI your room have it design it and then order all the furniture.
